I started working on a shawl called
Holden Shawlette. It is a free pattern and there is a knit along for it at
Craftsy.com. It has a beautiful lace edge. The cast on was a bit tricky but once I got started, so far, it is working beautifully! A nice change from constantly knitting socks.

I'm using a
Knit Picks yarn called Chroma Fingering in the Pegasus colour. I bought it when it was on sale & now wish I had been able to get some of the brighter colours. I'm not sure they have it any more. I originally bought this to make socks as it has some nylon in it but when I saw the words "hand wash", it was promptly removed from the "Socks To Knit" pile. I DO NOT hand wash socks!
But I'm sure it will make a very nice shawl.
