They're all quite different, yet seem related. I guess YOU are the unifying factor.

Photos are always difficult. I have a light tent, but don't like my results with it some of the time. My most consistently good results are when I shoot outside on a slightly overcast day with no flash. If it is too overcast (read that cloudy), the results are dark and somewhat lifeless. If it is too bright, I get too many washed out spots from the glare on the beads. Sometimes I have to shoot a piece several different ways before I get something reasonably good.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06700778413231259614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21916797.post-13122806832008005452008-01-25T01:59:00.000-06:002008-01-25T01:59:00.000-06:00Wow, so beautiful! I also have those daylight light bulbs in my studio. Maybe I also need a sunny day. Thank you all for the suggestions, I will give them a try & see if I can get a better photo. I just want it to show the white beads as they are.Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09764917917335401936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21916797.post-80454265392690094402008-01-21T22:45:00.000-06:002008-01-21T22:45:00.000-06:00It looks great. I use a chair placed in front of a bright but not sunny window, turn off the flash and usually get best results using the macro setting. Now, you'll go prove me wrong. I do it this way as the flash wrecks each photo for me.Timareehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15769047120660859743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21916797.post-17915797789498681602008-01-21T18:44:00.000-06:002008-01-21T18:44:00.000-06:00That is a stunningly gorgeous piece Cindy.. The softness of the pinks is a perfect compliment to the rest of the piece & I love your heart tree
We bought a light tent for me to use when taking pictures of my beaded creations. You don't need a flash but get the detail you need, as you can put bright lights on the outside - or sit it in the sunshine if you wishEllenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03069497824428680505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21916797.post-65552772663838302162008-01-21T18:03:00.000-06:002008-01-21T18:03:00.000-06:00I think it is hard to photograph anything with spa...I think it is hard to photograph anything with sparkly shine to it.
